MILK (COMPARISON AND/OR CONTRAST)

      
   Skim Milk vs Whole Milk
 Skim milk This is usually good for weight loss or for people with weak cardiovascular health. The American Association of Pediatrics recommends skim milk for kids over two, but a recent study has shown that children who drink skim milk tended to be heavier than those who drank whole milk.
      Nutrition
Calories: One cup of whole milk has close to 150 calories while one cup of skim milk contains about 90 calories. Removal of fat content from milk has a direct impact on the calorie count.
Calcium: Milk is a great source of calcium; whether it's whole milk or skim milk, one cup provides 25-35% of one's daily calcium requirement.
Fats: One cup of whole milk has 8g (grams) fat, 5g of which is saturated fat, which is considered risky for cardiovascular health, especially if saturated fat intake from other foods consumed during the day is high. It is important to note that the body needs some saturated fat.
Cholesterol: Much like fat, skim milk has lower cholesterol content than whole milk. One cup of whole milk contains about 24mg of cholesterol, while a similar sized serving of skim milk only has 5mg cholesterol.

MILK (DEFINITION)

          Milk is a white liquid produced by the mammary glands of mammals. It is the primary source of nutrition for young mammals before they are able to digest other types of food. Early- lactation milk contains colostrum, which carries the mother's antibodies to the baby and can reduce the risk of many diseases in the baby. It also contains many other nutrients.
          Throughout the world, there are more than 6 billion consumers of milk and milk products. Over 750 million people live within dairy farming households.
          Milk is ingredient in many deserts such as ice cream, cookie or cake. 


MILK (ARGUMENT)

       Milk consumption may increase the risk of suffering from certain health problems.

-The men who drink a large amount of milk and consume dairy products were at a slightly increased risk of developing Parkinson's disease.
Several sources suggest a correlation between high calcium intake and prostate cancer. Specifically implicates dairy, i.e. low-fat milk and other dairy to which vitamin A palmitate.


-Milk proteins are of two types, whey protein and casein. Sometimes, milk might contain some harmful casein elements which might increase risk of heart disease and contribute to intestinal issues in children with autism.

MILK (DIVISION-CLASSIFICATION)

Milk have many types of production

Refrigerated milk or Pasteurized milk is milk which has been heat-treated to kill pathogens which cause disease. Milk is refrigerated to delay spoilage. Milk contains bacteria and the bacteria will continue to grow, even under refrigeration. It spoils much faster at warmer temperatures. Can be found every stores. 

Powdered milk or dried milk is a manufactured dairy product made by evaporating milk to dryness. Powdered milk can be preserved the longest.

Condensed Milk is cow's milk from which water has been removed. Sweetened condensed milk is a very thick, sweet product which when canned can last for years without refrigeration if unopened. It can made several ways; such as served with pancakes.


MILK (CAUSE AND/OR EFFECT)

           Milk is very benefit for everyone, since children to adults. I hope everyone will like drinking milk, because it's have benefit to body and it's delicious, which now there are milk of many flavors to make drinking easier.But present, People drink less milk and turned to drink sparkling water, because its have a sweet taste.

            Milk has disadvantage on our health. Drinking a glass of milk a day makes your bones stronger, milk even prevents us from cancer. Consuming a glass of milk daily gives you many benefits, but there are few disadvantages. It is high in Saturated Fats. Milk does not only add extra calories, but it adds extra fat calories. And the fats, being saturated fats, are also of the unhealthy kind. So that is again detrimental to those who are looking for weight loss products.

            So, better be careful with what you eat. Nothing is perfect doesn't mean that you can't have anything.
